Dr Bicuspid  (3/18, Barros) reports on a study finding that “severe caries may be associated with an increased risk of osteoporosis,” and “caries may increase the risk of postmenopausal osteoporosis with pathological fractures.” The findings  were published in BMC Oral Health.
