CNN reported, “A record 21.3 million Americans flocked to Affordable Care Act coverage for 2024.” CMS data show that “nearly 5 million more people” enrolled in ACA plans “for this year compared with last year,” and about 25% “of people selecting plans were new consumers.”
USA Today reported, “Four states and Washington, DC are still accepting applications for open enrollment through January 31.” As a result, the total enrollment figure should rise.
