Study Finds Patients With SCD More Likely To Show Certain Facial Characteristics

Florida Towns Take Up Question Of Fluoride In Water

Over 21M Americans Enroll In ACA Plans For 2024, Data Show

CNN reported, “A record 21.3 million Americans flocked to Affordable Care Act coverage for 2024.” CMS data show that “nearly 5 million more people” enrolled in ACA plans “for this year compared with last year,” and about 25% “of people selecting plans were new consumers.” USA Today reported, “Four states and Washington, DC are still accepting applications for open enrollment through January 31.” As a result, the total enrollment figure should rise. Georgia Dental School Offers Tuition Support For Practicing In Rural Areas

Becker’s Dental Review reported, “The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University is launching a program to offer tuition assistance to students who commit to practicing in underserved areas.” The “loan forgiveness program will provide financial support for tuition to dental students who agree to practice in rural and underserved communities in Georgia for five years following graduation.” The “program will receive $200,000 in funding from Peach State Health Plan and the Centene Foundation.” Link: Read more…
