Daily Express (UK) (Leathers) reported that Dr. Andrej Bozic, an oral surgeon at Dentum, identified sardines, prunes, and tofu as affordable foods that can enhance bone and dental health. Sardines are rich in calcium, vitamin D, and omega-3 fatty acids, which support bone density and reduce inflammation. Prunes, containing compounds that aid bone metabolism, can help maintain bone density, especially in postmenopausal women. Tofu provides calcium and protein, beneficial for strong bones and teeth, and is suitable for those not consuming dairy. Dr. Bozic added that a diet should be combined with lifestyle choices like exercise and avoiding smoking to mitigate osteoporosis and tooth weakening.
